How often do you eat ready meals?

This is a thread dedicated to ready meals, so unless you are presenting your Uni talk in a microwavable tray with a film lid that requires pricking with a fork, please chatter about degrees in another thread.

there is somebody at work who eats those things for 'lunch', i don't know who it is, but i've seen several tesco value quiches lorraines packets in the same bin.

I was looking at the Tesco Value "ready to eat" chicken portions today. they did not look edible in any way

Not much of the Value range does look edible.

One exception, which I would and indeed do buy regularly - the jaffa cakes.

I am a fan of White Chocolate. When presented with the choice of 40p for Cadburys Dream, or a 150g bar of Sainsbury's own for 69p, I think you will know which one I go for.

Going slightly OT, but does anyone else remember a cereal called Chex? I think Weetabix made them, but they were nice, I'm sure they were fully loaded with sugar

Yup... they were nice..and I think they had a super-cool rabbit to promote them.

They still have them in America it seems.
