This is the bit I like!

I'm sure they probably said it more than once, yet they definitely once said it.

Don't think his little message will appear in your "logs", he's probably taken care of that so you don't see it. But I swear on my mother's life the above message was received

TO THE POINT THOUGH:

Yes, I do think Bowen contributes to the forum. As for wild threats, blurting out that you're sure he's a "former member" is quite high up there? I think he puts people in their place where necessary and just doesn't suffer fools. Apart from that he offers debate and opinion. Better than what most other people offer on that board if you ask me. Not his friend but it would be a sad day for TVF if he got banned. By the way, I don't like how you abuse your admin position on this site to try moderate TVF.
I would interpret that message (as I did at the time) as a moderator's warning - "wacky furniture warehouse" being a reference to an oft banned member of this board, and his current career path. Nothing more, nothing less.

Being sure someone is a former member isn't a threat, its an observation. I think you may be confusing the definition of a threat.

I would be interested to know which of Mr Bower's 21 posts you feel stimulates debate (this thread excluded, naturally). Was it, "Shut up", "Aren't you a little old for Home and Away Mr Shatliff?", "*hoping the camp is engulfed by flames, killing everybody*" or "A most excellent observation. ".

I confess I haven't read them all. My sample I feel is indicative, given his limited time (under his current username) and limited posting history.

And I think you're crediting me with too much "influence". People may agree or disagree, but that's really a matter for them.
Might also mention your track record for identifying new members who are “former members” is far from unblemished…after all, your hasty judgment here got me unfairly banned without warning or anything. It was left to me to pick up the pieces of your mistake by sending you a PM, something I should REALLY not have had to do. Just because the pieces fit together doesn’t mean it’s the case Mr, you can’t say things without evidence. I should really tell asa how I was banned at your site without any facts in your favour, but I won't since I'm not so sad.
You signed up under a proxy server (and a free-email address), which are red-flagged and banned by default. As a courtesy I invited you to PM me to make a special exception and you did, so I did.

I think you might just have as big a flair for the dramatic as me.

I'm not here to debate with you, as you know the law in this country is "innocent and tell proven guilty" which basically means you do NOT just ban members with no hard proof against them. I respect the law as should yourselves.

Hymagumba, i'm not here to talk symantec with you, i edited your quote and used "[...]"
Do you know what that is??
Maybe you should leave it right here.

aww that's nice. I must say I wasn't aware of the law preventing people who run private internet forums from banning whomever they wish or indeed making a mistake but lets ignore that for a time and let's focus on your reply to my PM too shall we.
ShowbizGuru wrote:Just for the record, threaten me like that again and I'll report your site to Asa. It's called freedom of speech, and while I won't do it again I defend to the death my write to
Now aside from what exactly Asa would do, explain to me why you believe that hiding behind a false name, a false avatar, a false email and a proxy and then using a third party site to break a court ruling counts as "freedom of speech".

The still of Wallace and Gromit currently under active discussion in the BBC ONE thread is not from the ident. It's from one of the Christmas animations.
