Anyway, when will Windows catch up with the remainder of the computing world and have it as an integral part of the OS?
Y'know, I'm not sure it is that integral. The shortcuts don't work properly for me (WinKey+1,2,3,4 and WinKey+F1,F2,F3,F4 are already assigned for one thing), and whlie I love my dual-monitor configuration on my desktop installing this program on my laptop just wasn't on a par. It's a bit like Apple's Spaces feature, isn't it? I wasn't very fond of it on Apple, either, you see. It's too many hierarchies of organisation.
Essentially it reminds me of the big tabs-in-web-browers problem. See, fundamentally I don't believe web browsers should have tabs. Tabs are just a symptom of a bigger problem with window organisation. Grouping windows should be done by the OS, and there should be an extra taskbar at the top of every monitor which displays this grouping.
On the other hand one thing I would pay good money for is software that can increase the resolution of my laptop's display above the number of pixels, and let me move my mouse around moving the extra resolution space around behind the mouse in the opposite direction. Similar to Apple's absolutely fantastic Accessibility: Zoom feature, which I really, you know, dig, except with extra horizontal pixels rather than just blowing up the screen.
