Mmm, that was a nice surprise to hear. Patrick Stewart is voicing some UK commercials it seems - something he did a lot of in the States. Something I used to enjoy hearing on my trips over there.
Curry's are using his mellifluous tones to explain why shopping with them, "is forever". Presumably something to do with how long it takes to find a member of staff who knows what they're talking about.
But I digress.
I could listen to him reading a phone book.
Alexander Armstrong has a good voice over voice - but the Pimm's ones aren't so good after repeated viewings.
Can any other forumers name a favourite voice over artist?

Can't name one VO. But anyone with a NI i could listen to all day. I wouldn't understand much of hat they say but i just luuurve that accent. They could tell me the end of the world is nigh and it'll still put a smile on my face.

I could, but, really, I'm far too modest!Gavin Scott wrote:Can any other forumers name a favourite voice over artist?
Although, we would really be saying the end of the world is now...Lorns wrote:Can't name one VO. But anyone with a NI i could listen to all day. There are very few voiceover commercials I recognise these days, not like the 1970s or 1980s when every ad seemed to be voiced by either Richard Briers, Ray Brooks, Martin Jarvis, Robert Powell, Patrick Allen, Anton Rogers or William Franklyn.

Aaaw fanks. No disrespect but i've often thought you lot could sell sand to the arabs.
