I often find hyperlinks are useful in this situation.
But I also find zombies are best left buried.
The rapidly rising price of oil.
You're the sort of person who opens a new bottle of tomato sauce when there'e still some in the bottle.Jovis wrote:I often find hyperlinks are useful in this situation.

The way I've done it is both historically interesting and shows just how fast the price is rising.

My leccy bill is £170 higher this quarter than my 6 year average.
I will bump this thread in 2 months to see if I've remembered to pay the bill.

I had my wallet stolen this morning. No petrol for me and £15 in cash I'll never see again.
Just got off the phone to the DVLA - new driving licence is gonna cost £25.
Some days it's really not worth getting out of bed.

My sympathies for your loss Jamez. It's a tortuous process having to get replacement cards/driving licence etc. At least you didn't lose much cash (although the amount is irrelevant when someone has their mitts on your hard-earned pennies).Jamez wrote:I had my wallet stolen this morning. The ever constant threat of either theft or just losing my wallet through carelessness means that I carry very little cash in it most of the time. However, when I go for a night out I leave my wallet at home, keep my cash and my mobile in my pocket, and my bank card (for emergencies) in my sock. Anyone trying to pinch any of these would get their fingers chopped off if I caught them!
Especially if you are leaving someone nice still in it!Jamez wrote:Some days it's really not worth getting out of bed.
