Apple Store
Went to the opening of the new Apple Store in Milton Keynes shopping centre this morning. It is amazing. Got a free tshirt for being part of the first 1000 to come in. Anyone else been to an Apple Store?

Apple sucks, and Apple Stores blow chunks. They might as well call it "Pompous Nerd Cavalcade" as that's what it is.
I have a Macbook Pro and iPod, and from these I can easily say Apple make great products. But due to the fact that that they release better products just after I buy mine (i've had my Macbook for 3 weeks and then they bring out a newer one), I hate them. Just for that... No warning or anything. They just appear and piss people off...
Right. Don't know why you reckon updates just appear mysteriously for hardware, their update cycles are pretty regular and if you're attentive and do some research you can find out if to hold off just like any other hardware developer.Reeves wrote:I have a Macbook Pro and iPod, and from these I can easily say Apple make great products. if you get bitten then of course that's a shame but that is the cost of buying technology and not doing your homework before making a purchase.
Yes, I always find it so annoying when companies try to improve their products. How inconsiderate. Personally, I think Apple gave up on the IIE way too fast.Reeves wrote:I have a Macbook Pro and iPod, and from these I can easily say Apple make great products. The IIe was quite the quality machine, wasn't it? Did give that one up a bit fast for the 128k, eh?Mr Q wrote:Yes, I always find it so annoying when companies try to improve their products. How inconsiderate. Personally, I think Apple gave up on the IIE way too fast.
I'd say it was the beginning of the end, really.Nini wrote:The IIe was quite the quality machine, wasn't it?
