Bliar Out? (fingers crossed!)
I saw this is Manchester (Oxford Road) today and thought of this thread...

..oddly enough there was a sign on a Lamp post not too far from it, in bold capitals saying... 'DUE TO THE LABOUR PARTY CONFERENCE ON X.. THIS ROAD WILL BE CLOSED.' That'll be fun if the TUC is anything to go by..

How come I can't see your reflection in the glass?
I've just noticed that myself, though when I took the pic I didn't think there would be a massive reflection of the Central Library there...Gavin Scott wrote:How come I can't see your reflection in the glass?

There are a few of these around Manchester at the moment, on the other side of that was a half a File-a-fax and half of a Palm pad.

I think that if the replacement of blair didn't need to be in the Labour Party, then I think the best replacement would be a Lib. Dem. I think they are trust-worthy.
I think that it is a pity that polititians are judged by appearance. That isn't why we should be voting a leader. Someone to have considerable power over our countries. We should be voting someone because we agree with the manifestos. I think Spin-doctors are awful. Imagine if we span everything to our bosses. Euthamisms are awful. I.M.O., Sir Cambell hasn't done any of this 'big-publicity', and people see that as not doing anything. We are so used to, imo, having politicians bigging up everything, we feel like a politician is bad if they don't.
That is just my opinions anyway.
I hope that (I know this isn't genetically possible [yet
!], but if a politician looked-like a dalek, who spoke like an original cyberman (with the 'sing-song' voice), and had a habit of saying "Okay, ditto" too much, that people would put that aside, and listen to the issues.

Why do people say “Quad bike” and “Double prime”—it is like saying a “three-sided square”, oh wait they do, “Tri-square”?!

Bollocks. The Lib Dems are the most bent party.
My order of presedence in voting is:-
1. Conservative
2. UKIP / Right-Wing Independent
3. BNP
4. English Democrats/England First
5. OMRLP
6. Popular Alliance
7. Abstention
999. Green
999. Labour
9999. Respect
9999. Lib Dems
(999. Being I would abstain rather than vote for these bastards)
(9999. I would rather emigrate to Yemmen to vote for these racist against the British/bunch of faggots (respectively... and except Charles Kennedy) if either of these got in to power in Parliament (even in a coalition!!!))

You'd say the same about Hitler then? Not The Chef wrote:The BNP have stuck by their guns and not gone left, unlike the centralisation of a lot of other parties.
I don't condone everything they do, but I do see where they're coming from and I do admire the way they stick to their guns.

Good Lord!
