so, out of all the handbags, shoes, and pornographic magazines what was the best/most useful things you purchased in 2005?

2005 has been a mad year for me, and the best thing a brought this year had to be a house with my girlfriend (and finally moving out of a rented place which seemed like throwing money down the drain as the cost of rent started to creep up)

also my playstation 2 (kept us busy for many hours whilst we "suffered" without sky) and a dog which is an endless source of amusement and so very faithful, although his farts stink and he's desecrated quite a few pairs of shoes. fortunately he's grown out of that now.

didn't have nearly as much money to spend on computer type things (wanted to get a mac mainly for the gf to do her stuff with, but for me to learn more about... didn't bother in the end because of the new architecture) but managed got borland developer studio 2006 pro which has been an absolute god send.

anyway, over to you!

I got some fun things this year for the flat. My favourite has been a Analogue to Digital video converter which allows me to do fun things with video editing (a wee passtime of mine).

I got some nice colour changing LED lighting too, which always gets an "oooh" response from guests.

Oh, and a tummy tuck. I'm most excited about that one.

My Audi A4! (birthday prezzie)

Although it costs a fortune to run, it's still my favourite possession - followed closely by my MP3 player and PC.

Too true.

You need a long car to reflect the size of your cock.

So THAT'S what Jamez is looking at in his avatar picture!

It's all making sense now.

Don't be alarmed, Jamez. I wasn't suggesting you weren't heterosexual. Comparing is natural, and often reasurring. ;)

Can't quite remember everything I've bought, but got a nice new SLR digital camera and a lovely Seiko watch, which I adore.

I know the worst thing I bought: a Motorola V3.

It is dire. I'm tempted to buy a SIM-free 20 quid Nokia crappy model just so I don't have to use the damn thing any more.

You only seem to pop up when there's a comment to be made about Jamez. Are you Jamez's Lee Stanley? (Think Jaron).

I cant remember, I often buy so much crap its hard to know.

I bought about 40-50 albums last year. Most of ebay or second hand... theyre just so cheap! Magical.

Hmm... this is a real eye opener... Note to self: think before buying crap
