I know.

But I thought that as it brought even more attention to you - as if having about four threads already open on the subject of your life wasn't enough - then you'd appreciate it.

Remarkable coincidence, though.

Seeing as you are a major contributer to the aforementioned threads (albeit posting under the name of 'Bones'), then I don't particularly see what your moaning on about.

I don't think cat was suggesting it was you, Jamez.

I happened to see the same Sky "News" report and thought of you too.

It wasn't my decision to call myself that. There was another presenter called, James, so the manager decided to call me Jamie.

Jamie is a camp version of James IMO.

That's a bit of a poor excuse.

I seem to recall you referred to yourself as "Jamie" on MSN and your Faceparty profile for a good while too.

Good old Keri and Pembs! In a wierd twist of forum fate, my old boss now works for him.

I did think about taking on a stage name but have instead used JM on a professional basis. Sounds OK until you get confused with the chef.

Well if you wanted to join British Equity if you wanted to establish yourself as a voice-over, you'd need to change your name because 'James Martin' is already taken.

Maybe you should consider changing it now, while you're not too famous! :)

I know, but the powers that be don't like them.

Which is a shame, because Sput and I were working on a fab pisstake featuring you, James! :(
