That Tesco simply cannot be as big as Asda Queensferry in North Wales. That is just ridiculous. It is about the size of two Tesco Extra stores stuck together.Jamez wrote:I miss Tesco. The nearest one to me is in Penarth just down the road, but it's hardly big. It's more of a Tesco Metro, although it does have a filling station (which now closes at midnight!)
The next closest Tesco would be Culverhouse Cross, but that's not much bigger than a shoebox either and is in desperate need of revamping. I heard that they were going to re-build that one.
And finally, the Tesco in Cardiff which is my favourite involves a winding, traffic-light ridden car journey through the city centre to get to Llandaf. Offically the biggest Tesco in Wales. It's HUGE!
Pointless me thinking about Tesco, though as every single of one of them is currently closed until 10am tomorrow morning. Bloody antiquated Sunday trading laws.
I went to a Carrefour when I was abroad recently. They were selling ''half price double beds''. Like you do.
