First up is this BT advert from around Christmas 1997. You can tell it's from around then because they're using pagers (remember them
and BT Internet is used on that computer).Secondly, there's this piece of background music used in Smart of the road.
Thirdly, there's a piece of end music used on the Commonwealth Games in 1998.
At number four, there's the backing musicthat Pete and Geoff are using during their podcasts. Now I don't listen to P&G, or indeed, any radio breakfast show in the morning. And if I do it's usually Terry Wogan or Chris Moyles (sorry P&G, Johnny Vaughan et al).
At six, there's a piece of jazzy stylee music that was played on the Steve Wright oldies slot a while back. Steve Wright, being Steve Wright didn't bother to back-announce the song (ah, not much difference there, then).
At seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven and twelve are some pieces of music that are pretty much used more or less every year on the BBC's coverage of the London Marathon.
Number 13 features a piano piece that was used (in the clip) of some footballers' programme on BBC 1. The same piano piece used to be heard on a BBC News trail. Finally at number 14, there's a piece of classical music used often on football programmes or describing the toil during the World War.
