After just using my memory card for my Fujifilm camera (F610) the display says "Card Not Initialized". I have cleaned it, formatted it, but it still doesn't work. My printer (Lexmark All-In-One) won't read it either!
Can anybody help?

It's a Fujifilm XD Picture Card, I hope it helps.time warp wrote:what card is it?
The card is probably dead. If it's still covered by its guarantee, take it back to the shop you bought it from (or contact FujiFilm).J.Christie wrote:After just using my memory card for my Fujifilm camera (F610) the display says "Card Not Initialized". Well, how long was it since you bought it? If it's under a year then you're covered by consumer law and have every right to demand a working product. Although some manufacturers may specifically state that they have a different guarantee period (i.e. 2 years or 5 years) or a lifetime guarantee - if any of those apply then you should be able to return it then without quibble and be able to get a replacement.J.Christie wrote:How will I know it is, seeing I bought it from eBuyer...MarkN wrote:The card is probably dead. You did know that every product you purchase comes with a year's guarantee (unless otherwise stated)?

Good luck...
No no no no no, there are only about 5 times of memory card and "Fujifilm XD" isn't one of them. Take a pic of it and post it on the forum.J.Christie wrote: It's a Fujifilm XD Picture Card, I hope it helps.
Anyway, seriously, if the memory card's bust the memory card's bust, and that's what it seems. Nothing you can do about that I'm afraid -- apart from chuck it in the bin
