I was *always* a Steven, but the ambiguous spelling was becoming a pain, particularly as there was a Stephen with the same surname at work who kept getting my email. Being Steve seems to save hassle
That's all well and good, but "In Pudsey" is a stupid surname. I'd change that if I were you.

So you've decided not to use "Mercury". That's a shame I personally though "James Mercury" sounded quite good
