What with the speed of it and the time taken in getting lost because i've been reading the map upside down and getting arrested for shooting out the gatso's en-route.
Actually does a tank have sat-nav as standard?
You're better off with a helicopter. Not only are the skies pretty much empty, but they are relatively easy to fly!

Whenever an incident happens in and around the Milford Haven waterway, the RAF Helicopter is deployed from Chivenor in Devon and only takes 10 mins to arrive!!!

In which case i better get a Chinook ( did you you know it's got seven gear boxes and they can land on water?!) to transport the tank to the b-roads of wiltshire. I don't think Mr. Harvey will like me very much though.

No.

Just been watching the programme about Imber again, from Monday night on BBC Two.

Lots of tanks over there, both dead and alive.

Did you not see Jeremy's race with one round Imber on Top Gear this week? The answer to your question is 40mph flat out; but they can't half twirl their turrets round at a rate of knots.

Didn't think you would!

I've not been watching that. Most of the knowledge i get is through the history channels. My fella watches anything Vietnam, ww1 and 2 etc. So i can't help but be brainwashed ( But secretly, i don't mind.. Sssshhh!!!). Mind you history was one of my stronger subjects at school amongst many others, social skills being another one of them.
My fellas brother is with the tank regiment. He recently served in iraq, mind you he was at the Divisional headquarters ( about 30 miles behind enemy lines) R.S.M.. SIR!< salutes at this point>.

I think i could have a lot of fun in a tank. Especially now i know i can go at 40mph, wonder if i could borrow one for a weekend. I'd go on a speed trap mission..

POW!!!!! ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

Well, if he watches everything about World War Two, he'll be totally up to speed on the War Office stealing the homes of the residents of Imber and STILL not giving them back, to this day.

I will ask him about that and get back to you. He's too busy to talk to me right now.
So in the meantime would you like to give me history lesson.
I'm all ears ( until i pass out from the alcohol abuse hehe).

I just know i'm going to regret posting msgs while under the influence.

I asked him about this and he's not been watching the programme either.
He told me it's about a village on Salisbury Plain. The Army bought up most of the Plains and moved the residents out when the country was at war, and there is still a dispute about it.
Don't know much more than that, sounds interesting though, i'll look out for it in the t.v listings.
