Can someone give me their opinion?

Would you say the show Gimme Gimme Gimme was a comedy aimed at gays or for anyone?

I'd say it's aimed at people with a sense of humour that is shit.

Exactly. But I don't know, as I am into BBC comedies like Gimme Gimme Gimme, but being set a bit gay-ish, i dunno!

Would you say it was?

The character Tom is gay, flamboyant and theatrical. You don't have to be gay, flamboyant or theatrical to find it amusing.

In the same way I don't have to be a dinnerlady to find that programme funny, or self sufficient to enjoy The Good Life.

At their cores, all situation comedies are the same. Irrespective of the main character's attributes, all have the same basic dersires and fears. The scenarios may vary but people are fundamentally the same.

No need to worry. You're only gay if you fancy a bit of cock.

What if you're a post-op transexual?

You forget the character of Lynda is straight, and her sense of humor is vulger and funny, so anyone can find a character they like in the show, even the 80 year old ex-whore

I don't know - I'd say it's the whole cock or none at all!
