As suggested a while ago in the "Rant about TVF thread": A thread to post all the most banal, pointless, irrelevant, stupid, and downright weird comments you've ever seen on TVF and Metropol 24))7. Don't use Kat too much, please. :D

Example: This morning, marykate, in the "Saying Goodbye" thread:

Can somebody start a news presenter catchphrase thread?

Yes, apparently Louise Minchin's catchphrase is "This is BBC News 24".

Someone said a few days ago that they were excited that they were going to record ITV Nightscreen soon. Obviously their IQ has just reached the level required to programme a VCR.

A current favourite from TV Ark's Banal Forum is "Mr. Charles Allen the man currently in charge of ruining ITV is going to vote Labour on Thursday the 5th of May. So a really good way to annoy him would be to vote Conservative. Am I right in guessing he is voting Labour because they have aloud ITV1 to be one region not many like before?"
Never mind Iraq or Top-Up Fees, this is the real issue!

I sincerely doubt that the contributer of that post isn't even of puberty age, never mind voting age!

Here's one from Digital Spy that I would like to share with you, regarding a regional programme on ITV1 London;

"Also have you noticed it is from Luton Airport ! The ITV programme Airline is also filmed at Luton with Easyjet as well ,so probably costs them less as they can make them at teh same time. I know in Airline they also show a bit from Easyjets other bases at Liverpool and Manchester but notice they never show bits from Belfast , probably because they dont have any camera crews there as its is covered by UTV which is not part of ITV PlC"

Yes and strangely enough another local programme is called "The Tube" which is about the London Underground. I wonder why they don't show it in Belfast :roll: ;)

I like watching it on Sky Travel, makes a change from Airport. If I knew when it was on I'd make a point of catching it on ITV London.

It's on one of the pay-tv channels isn't it? UK Horizons or something? I've definitely seen it.

Yes it has been on Sky Travel recently what a dozy arse I am :roll:

Someone who used to live down my street was on it once he was rescuing a knackered old train from the 1930's or something like that
