With the film on the way and I know a great many of you are h2g2 fans I thought I'd start a thread about it. No doubt it'll spin into disuse and or abuse and be closed promptly, but as someone probably once told me, nothing ventured nothing gained.
I myself am a pointlessly huge fan of h2g2, having all 3 phases of the radio version and of course the book. I am very excited that the film premiers at the end of the month and really cannot wait.
I've just brought the OST that accompanies the film, very nice it is too. I am also happy they've kept the original *theme* used by the radio series "Journey of the Sorcerer" Also having just found the UK version of the site I'm impressed by it's not being US-A-Fied, unlike War of The Worlds.
The cast looks to be well suited, although I'm not sure about Mos Def playing Ford, certainly not how I pictured him. However office star Martin Freeman should be perfect for the tea loving Arthur Dent.
Are you h2g2 fans as excited about this as I am?
