The design brief seems to have been to make a good website header that can double up as the council logo, and not the other way round!
I think
Image
is just the website header, not the logo, and
Image
is still the logo, hence why both appear on thier websites main page.
no, that horrible looking "blue orange" logo (or strap as it is offically known) is on the website, letters, signs and pretty much everything to do with the council

Yes indeed that strap logo is everywhere, despite how silly it looks. The old logo at the bottom is the only place I've seen it. It's Bradford getting into the computer and internet age, a few years behind the rest of the country as per usual!

Home revamped their logo a few years ago to this:

Stockport MBC
from some strange logo made up of three chevrons! this was during the "lets paint everything orange" era which most councils seemed to follow. Now everything is white with a green stripe.

Uni is Ceredigion County Council:

Previously Dyfed with the only logo I can find:

Both Stockport and Ceredigion now seem to have returned to their Crests as logos rather than a graphic representation, no doubt they'll change again, at great cost!

This is Reigate and Banstead's logo, but strangely it's nowhere to be seen on their website. :?

Only noticed this the other day driving into Queensbury from Brighouse... and I quite agree Andrrew, may look okay on the web - but how stupid does it look on road signs...!
