Should take 10 to 30 minutes cooking time, less than 30 minutes preparation time.

Firstly, the ingredients:

¾ of jamaican ginger cake
splash of cream
pinch of mixed spice
1 pineapple ring
½ coconut, peeled and shaved using vegetable peeler
85g/3oz plain chocolate

Now the method:

1. Place the ginger cake into a food processor and pulse, to form fine breadcrumbs.
2. Pour in the cream and mixed spice and blend again to bind mixture
3. Spoon the mixture into a large oiled chefs ring on a serving plate and smooth off the top using a palette knife.
4. Remove the ring and top the cake with a pineapple slice.
5. Place the chocolate in a small bowl over a pan of simmering water, and allow to melt.
6. Remove from the heat and pour the chocolate sauce over the ginger cake.
7. Serve.

Hey. HEY!

This is not a random thread. It is a recipe for chocolate and ginger cake that I have stolen from BBCi written myself for the cakebaking enjoyment of this forum.

I like the recipes you get in GCSE math papers. You get a different one each time, and they're all as disgusting as each other. Tuna breadcrumb pasta bake!?!? lol

God I can't remember any of mt GCSE's specially not maths. It's odd though, I remember whilst being at school every single teacher telling me several times a day, daily how inmportant my GCSE's were.

Yet as soon as I left and entered the real world I've not had to "use" the one. Not once have I said "I got an A in Chemestry and a B in Georgaphy and.. and .." Now they're thinking of scrapping GCSE's and A-Levels, just as I finish 14 years of "learning" it's redundant. Sigh.

Anyway, Cake. Oooo i love a bit of cake, CAKE, C-A-K-E, Ooo I love cake. So, Dust, High in Fat low in fat? Dust, Anybody... No, Dust.
