I have Windows XP Pro and I have been having problems at startup...

Well, its not so much a problem just a bit annoying! When I startup, 2 balloons (and an icon) pop up at the corner saying that 'Applications or Drivers Had To Be Disabled' but everything seems to be fine :?. Anyway, these things loading slows down my startup time by amount a minute and I was wondering if there was anyway to get rid of these things! :?:

Thanks :D

P.S. Love the new look! :P

Have you installed SP2?

PS - please reduce the amount of compression on your signature. It looks dreadful at the moment.

No I haven't installed SP2 yet (haven't had time!). I will as soon as I can.

EDIT Thats me fixed the signature now. Must have been editing it too much

Sorry bout my signature, i'll try and fix it now :)
I'd suggest you hold fire until issues with are fixed as it 'breaks' many programs due to the new "improvements" (that's if you can call them that).

Are there any bits of hardware with a big yellow warning triangle on them? They should already be unrolled on the tree and shouting at you on the screen!
No but I do remember occasionally it does say on the balloon that it is 'CD Recording Software'.

When I click it it says that it is Roxio. Now I've been looking through some CDs and I managed to find Easy CD Creator 4 (which is Roxio AFAIK).

I seem to remember installing it a while ago. I uninstalled it though cause I didn't work with XP (I had it originally with 98 ) but somehow it still thinks it is on the PC. :?

This will remove all of v4/5 apparently (don't have ECDC 4 or 5)

Its a brute force method though so there are a lot of warnings
