Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
It’s a shame Pres Café blocked international users, as the diverse perspectives added real value to discussions. While VPNs can bypass it, it’s not the same welcoming community anymore. Hopefully,https://peccatitrans.it/another inclusive space for TV presentation fans emerges.

Charles, I always found your posts to be some of the most intelligent and insightful contributions to the forums. It's a real shame that this ridiculous foreign IP ban has led to the loss of diverse perspectives such as yours. But it is what it is, I guess.Charles wrote: Mon 18 Aug, 2025 08.46 Sad to hear that everyone out of the UK has been blocked. I thought it was initially just me, and I spent about half an hour searching to try to find a way to get myself unblocked. I really hope they sort out their Cloudflare problem, as pres.cafe (and TVForum) were my favorite pres sites, even though I'm in the US.
What a nice compliment! I appreciate the kind words. I really did enjoy the contributions of so many people there, especially those of you who have been with the forum going back to the TVForum days. I really do miss the global reach of TV news discussion that was on there, plus the second site, and then pres.cafe. I spent a lot of time way back when on the CNNFan.org forum, which is long since gone, and I'm also on the TVNewsTalk site (now rebranded as Local News Talk), though the discussion on there is very US-focused and a bit strange at times.Left Hand Man wrote: Fri 22 Aug, 2025 15.45Charles, I always found your posts to be some of the most intelligent and insightful contributions to the forums. I've gone without the forum for several weeks now, but what really made me want to scratch that itch was when I saw Gareth Barlow post on his IG story a few days ago that the Sky News glass box is undergoing some renovations – where else am I going to find people discussing that!? I must know what's happening to the glass box!
I really hope the pres.cafe mods change course, though I'm not holding my breath. It seems like they've always wanted to run that site at arm's length, though I guess I can't blame them. If people are going somewhere else en masse, I'd love to hear where. I don't really have the patience to try to figure out a VPN that works for just one website, especially if the talk on there is waning.

Just logged in on my account to access a thread, and it also failed to load.cysjunk wrote: Fri 29 Aug, 2025 17.34 I've noticed the TV Live Forum archive seems to give me a 500 error when I try to view any discussion. I've started a thread on Pres Cafe about this but I'm unsure if the moderators will allow it or if anyone in TV Pres will take any action.
Are you sure? The error still appears for me.

The homepage appears, Martin, but if you attempt to click into one of the threads, you get an error message.
The problem has now been fixed.
