Based on my recent trips you've more chance of getting loose bananas at Aldi than you are at Morrisons. Almost all are pre-packed/bunched.

As an aside why are bananas still being sold in plastic bags anywhere? The sticky labels are a far nicer solution both ecologically but also for the longevity of the fruit.

Wow, this is certainly not what I expected. Some of this stuff actually looks quite nice. That Driscoll's display though is like going back in time with the artificial plants.
