I 've managed to speak with some of the local activists, I have to be fair to all party's plus you get an insight into what they are believing.

All I can say for the SNP ones are they need to loses and they need to have a good long hard look at themselves, there living in a bubble.

They complained about Labour Privatising NHS, Yet Tories have been in power for 14 years themselves for 17 years in Scotland so that pretty good trick labour done here??

They hate labour for they treatment for Corbyn, I know plenty of labour people who HATED Corbyn and never liked him.

Yet nothing in NHS, education, crime, there need to go away and rethink this completely, I hope they get below 27 seats so they can start to see the damage they doing to thier own cause.

Got my postal vote on Friday. I've been affected by the boundary changes, so my village has been split in half, and our MP is based in a town that is further away, part of another borough, and part of another county (Cheshire). Ngl, not a fan of our Labour candidate

I'm in a similar position with my postcode now split between two constituencies. Walk across the road and I'll be in the new constituency.

The issue with my boundary change is that the election communication is talking about other areas that I don't go to or use their amenities. It was already bad enough that the seat was already focused on the neighbouring London Borough, but with only three wards in my borough making up the new constituency, I'm going to be less represented whoever wins.

We've recieved nothing from any of our candidates. I don't even think they know that they now have a small slice of Knowsley borough

Still to receive my postal ballot paper here in Edinburgh, and I'm going away for a week from tomorrow. The council vaguely saying that the papers will be sent out "by the weekend".

It turns out that if you'd applied for a postal vote here between the 8th and 19th June (the only deadline published), they've put you into a second batch of papers that haven't been issued yet.

My council revealed this information yesterday, the day after the deadline to appoint a proxy passed.

Very frustrating. It's now a story on the BBC News Scotland website as many seem to be affected.

I believe that according to SNP, if something's good it's because of devolution, and if something's bad it's due to Westminster. This applies even if it's a devolved area, in which case funding from Westminster is to blame. I rather suspect that for the SNP the subject of independence is used as a way of trying to distract people from other problems.

In general I think that when any party has been in power for over a decade then a change in governing party is usually a good thing. Governing parties are often reluctant to scrap failing policies that they introduced when they first came to power, especially if it was a flagship idea of theirs. Arguably coalitions are the best scenario, as it allows for election campaign promises to be dropped which were primarily designed to keep their far left/right party members happy, and weren't particularly good ideas.

The reform supporters on social media are some of the strangest people. And it's hard to tell sometimes if they're real people who practicaly have a hive mind, or it's an organised spamming campaign organised centrally seeing as they all seem to say the same things and switch to the same talking points at the same time. But there's so many of them flooding virtually every post about reform that it feels organised.

Last night, according to them the undercover channel 4 video was wonderful, showed reform are saying what "everyone else is thinking" and it makes them want to vote reform even more. Then as soon as Nigel's narrative changed to one of the people in the video supposedly being a planted actor made to make reform look bad (when yesterday he was claiming he'd known him for a while), they're all of a sudden outraged and disgusted at it. Not to mention repeating the same talking points about him using a "fake rough accent"- which of course they have no proof of, and using the same lines to dismiss people posting photos of him campaigning for reform earlier in the year.

Also they somehow can't grasp that rally sizes, internet posts and twitter followers and polls aren't what elections are won on. I'm expecting very Trump-like cries of rigged and stolen election when reform don't win 115% of the vote next week because that's what their echo chambers are telling them.

The worst things are the frequent outright neo nazi and white supremacist tweets that often appear on posts about reform, many from people proudly displaying their logo. I've seen some horrific racism the last few weeks, plenty of telling people they're not really british and going to be shot or deported when Reform get in. Elon's Twitter is a hellhole.

Oh, I can't stand them either, they're just as bad on the other end of the poltical spectrum. They're also due for a shock if the opinion polling is right. I'll be grinning as much if Corbyn fails to win his seat as I will if Nigel does.

My crime? Responding to their posts on local fb groups (which I'm a longer term member of) with mildly challenging questions and their policies and candidate. There initial response tended to be to reply by slagging off Labour, instead of answering the question.

The local candidate had reportedly been previously deselected over stuff they'd posted, according to that notoriously leftwing website, the Mail Online. I only found that article via yahoo, as on Google it appears some results had been removed under the EU's right to be forgotten.

They're only taking after their leader, who's boycotting the BBC and Channel 4 and crying election fraud and saying everything's a set up and everyone's an actor for daring to not give him an easy ride.
