The GMB thread isn't one I frequent, but happened to click today and, my God, I didn't realise that was another for the 'never visit' list.

Some things never change. The GMTV thread on TV Forum was always a mess too.

And I said Adrian Chiles and Christine Lampard, even though that would never happen now.
At least that suggestion was sensible.
Abbey Clancy/ Crouch took the biscuit to be honest.

Cor blimey, the Newsnight thread really is heated tonight with somewhat needless aggression.

I feel like the non-news side of the forum is really quiet these days. Major new Saturday night primetime show on BBC One with unusual presentation into the start of it - no posts apart from mine.

Could in part be a reflection of the state of linear TV these days, which overall these days is somewhat stale. Also, possibly some of the rules listed on https://pres.cafe/rules.php might inadvertently be putting off some from mostly on-topic constructive discussion.

I’m finding JMT1985 quite irritating in the Newsnight thread.

I find the whole topic of BBC News cuts to be quite irritating in general. It does affect how the service appears on screen, but its just coming across as moaning.

Did BBC LDN always post such essays in the blue days as he does now in the BBC News thread?

I know what you mean as I've thought that too, but having checked, I'm pretty sure that "LDN" on Pres Cafe is a different person to "BBC LDN" on TVF, particularly as BBC LDN didn't post anything after 2013.

Wonder if you could get away with a signature like "On crack. On smack. On your face" on Pres Cafe these days…

Some of the responses in the Carol Vorderman thread are incredibly patronising. Odd that the discussion hasn't been curtailed so far!

EDIT: And the thread is closed
