I wonder how that will work with Pepsi Max - it'd be a shame to see that name dropped for (what looks to be a rather bland) Zero Sugar.

Have no fear, the UK Max brand has always diverged significantly from the mothership, even when Pepsi were trying to launch a product with the same name stateside. V much doubt they'll be throwing it away.

I think that's the idea. It's based on the logo they were using 50 years ago, it's deliberately designed to look retro.

John Lewis are updating their partnership branding (ie mainly corporate stuff - not JL / Waitrose individual branding) and bringing back the old JLP logo.

Been in progress a little while. Didn't feature on their Christmas ad, for example.

Seabrook crisps with one of those rebrands that's so similar (yet strips out some of the character) you wonder why they bother.

It's weird - they had the same packaging design for decades and in the last ten years or so they can't seem to leave it alone for five minutes. Stop faffing about with the logo and bring back tomato sauce flavour!

It looks like all EG petrol stations will be fully rebranded as Asda, not just the stores themselves.

That's surely going to mean a noticeable reduction in BP/Shell/Esso/Texaco's presence across the UK. Some of their petrol stations are pretty long in the tooth as well, so perhaps some investment in refurbishment/store expansions.

Going to be pretty ironic, a fairly recent EG Garage near me opened with a Spar, I presume that's going to inevitably be replaced by an ASDA on the Go.
