I remember when there was late afternoon closing of shops on a Saturday. In the 70s, Sainsbury's used to close at 4pm.

Why have they chosen to put minging puddles from tarmac defects in a CG image?

I'm just wondering why the two blokes are engaged in what looks like a highly intellectual chin-stroking discussion in front of an Asda Express.

Walsall has an Asda Living more or less right beside a full-scale Asda.

I get the impression the guy in pink is expressing dismay at them travelling all that way only to find there is no food on the shelves or in the fridges - just a few stale crusty rolls by the door. His boyfriend is stroking his chin, trying to think of where the nearest Tesco is.

Tesco are introducing a two-tier meal deal pricing strategy.

Meals will go up from £3 to £3.40 for Clubcard holders and £3.90 for other customers.

The Co-op introduced a similar scheme charging £3.50 for members and £4 for non-members.

They're not really introducing it - it was already £3.50 for non-Clubcard holders.
