Just read in the paper that Yorkshire and Cyldesdale Banks are being rebranded as Virgin Money.
This was announced, widely reported and discussed here a year ago.
"Could be the end of the brands" - that's speculation. The fact it's actually happening is new news.
No it isn't - https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... -bank-cybg
CYBG said it was committed to moving all of its retail customer business over to the Virgin Money brand. It is theoretically possible that the Clydesdale and Yorkshire brands could be retained for the group’s small and medium-sized business banking division as the Virgin brand is to be tested out on these customers. The rebranding will cost £60m.

That piece is a year old, and still both brands are on the high street.

Yes - as anyone who has been on TV Forum should know, rebrands can take a long time...

Boots have switched to paper carrier bags which look lovely:

Also, a new concept store has opened in Covent Garden, and the internal signs use the "Since 1849" font rather than VAG Rounded.

Looks like a christmassy mash up between Primark and Holland & Barrett.

Looks all good, apart from the last image. I think the light boxes and foliage look quite dated. Also, those leaves will look even worse when they are inevitably covered in dust.

Dust was my first thought too. I have a feeling they're real plants though as this store in particular is going for an eco-friendly vibe.

They'll be dead within 2 years then.

Not sure if that's better or worse than the plastic'y shit that was popular in food courts in the 90s.
