Hi!

Does anyone remember the infospace chat rooms? I used to get into it through the screaming.net homepage, I think that was one of the reasons it was popular, it was linked from many differant portals, like zoo.com and many others.

Technically it really was simple, it had a whole load of flooders as the moderators could not ip ban, and some of the flooders where sickos. Anyone could hack it, even I got myself moddy access in the end! BUT, there was a real charm to it for some odd reason, and unlike chat rooms today like Lycos, which is run by over paid chat team who can't get results, it actaually worked!

It was a shame when it closed IMO

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of Easter

It amuses me now, when people with a background like ours just say desks.

So do you mean of the mixing variety, or the sort you put your papers and telephone on?

So a tower of desks? Also why is Chichester out of desks? I was there on Sat and I swear there was a wooden one near the cross.

And you joined up specially to reply to an 11 year old thread? One which had one on-topic post at that?!

Now, if you'd asked if the trip to pick up the desk supporting desk had been a success, that would be a worthwhile first post!

But we still don't know if the trip to pick up the desk supporting desk was a success.

And is the desk still supporting the desk?

And has the desk, supported by the desk, yet beeen converted to digital?

We need answers to all of these questions.
