I believe a vegetablist option is provided when you enter the code on the touch screen terminal (I was offered one with the McNuggets one I claimed).MarkAshley wrote: ↑Thu 03 May, 2018 13.58Does anybody want my free Big Mac/Quarter Pounder with Cheese Monopoly voucher? No vegetablist option so it's useless to me:

So in Fleet Street's branch this evening I tried the new barista coffee range. It was noticeably stronger and had a richer flavour than the standard offering. Clearly it's in its Alpha testing mode as I can't find anything about it on the internets anywhere! The machine is mounted on the counter next to the order collection point. The branding is very in-your-face mustard yellow background with an espresso machine handle, and the machine itself is bright yellow too.
The drinks range was identical to the standard offering, only around 20p more.

I never really thought that McDonalds coffee needed improving? It's by far the nicest fast food coffee offering.MarkAshley wrote: ↑Mon 04 Jun, 2018 00.19So in Fleet Street's branch this evening I tried the new barista coffee range. McDonalds on the Strand had a separate McCafe area in the noughties, which was rather frustrating when I wanted a hot chocolate and would have to wait for it there after ordering food.MarkAshley wrote: ↑Mon 04 Jun, 2018 11.22I can't see this being rolled out everywhere; as you say there's nowt wrong with what is already on offer, plus the dedicated staff required to run the coffee bar plus longer overall turnaround of each order doesn't seem a worthwhile investment.
