I have a lot of respect for skygeek, but he can't jump on when anyone is constructively critical of certain output on the channel. Don't get me wrong EofE is a pain in the backside with his repetitive complaints about the channel, but I think SG didn't play his cards right this time.

I'm sure I've seen Ian Pennell on DS spouting similar stuff?

DJGM getting all high and mighty about "why should I look at the schedules of a channel I rarely watch" when he's the one who made a post informing us BBC4 have stopped showing Top Of The Pops from 1985 and gone back to 1981 (because he happened to tune in while they were showing one)- when a quick look at the schedule would have shown him the 1981 episodes are just weekday late night filler and the 85 episodes are on Thursday and Friday nights, where they've always been. Actually looking at the schedules would have stopped him looking a bit of a prat on that thread (though acting like he doesn't need to look at the schedules did that too).
