We have a very low-budget local magazine in these parts which does the same. It leads to utterly nonsensical stuff being published, such as one from my employer that was featured saying, "Look what's arrived" and then a URL of an image.

Does nobody proofread this stuff?!

To be honest I can imagine there's plenty of 'types' who read these papers and will happily type every letter of these URLs out to find out what it is.

A police van and dog unit were spotted in Wanstead park just after 9am this morning.

A man walking in the park this morning admitted he thought he "could smell something dead".

What I find more baffling is the (unclosable) adverts that are covering over the sides of the main body of the site, and overlapping the adverts that appear to have been correctly designed for the site's proportions.
