Then you have no interest in, or contribution to make to, this discussion or the wider saga in which it is the latest chapter. For which you should feel eternally lucky.

I also have no interest in this discussion or the wider saga save for the desire to see less shit videos on YouTube. As such I will make no contribution to it.

I can't beleive anyone who uses TV forum or has an interest in TV pres has no idea who cwilliams is. But, yes, you are incredibly lucky if you don't.

Chris Heap of the Rapier Multimedia Network is far more interesting. He has (self-)published two books and has a mildly interesting back story.

I've already had the threatening 'police' message from him on Facebook, despite blocking him years ago.

A few years back he uploaded a load of mock ITV endcaps on a website I use that has NOTHING to do with TV pres. I couldn't believe it when I saw them on the "recent uploads" on the front page...

I can barely last 10 seconds watching one of his mocks.

Agreed.

I couldn't have told you who Cwilliams1976 was either, so seemingly it's possible to have an interest in TV pres and just ignore the crap videos.

Listened to "In Conversation...", had a quick Google and I'm made more uncomfortable by those that seem to have this obsession with him, rather than anything he does himself.

As I said earlier, there are others who have bones in this fight that can explain it more than I can, but from what I understand of it, it's less that this individual is churning out crap video after crap video which any normal pres fan would find amusing, even cute, but moreover that he's then passing these videos off as actual, archive, genuine examples of actual on-air pres from years gone by. And while even the most ardent TV pres fan will surely admit that our particular interest is incredibly niche and that the archiving, cataloguing and historical record of pres is not the most important field of study in the history of the human race, there are people, organisations and websites out there that take this process incredibly seriously and have large amounts of time, effort and yes money invested in the pursuit. Whatever you think of that is irrelevant, but I would wager that if you took a pursuit seriously enough you would be a bit miffed if someone began metaphorically shitting all over it.
