And... locked. The forums are now in read-only mode. Didn't waste any time, did they? Can't say I'm looking forward to seeing the animated gifs and memes that plague the main site invade the forum.

DS's main site is down. Blank front page, TV index goes to a 2001 TV ratings article, everything else except the forum is 404 not found. Looks like it's not just the forum getting an update. The forum is actually the only thing working properly at present, but as I mentioned in my last post is currently locked, so people don't even have anywhere to complain!

I'm wondering how the bigots and licence fee bashers are coping now with their outlet for bile out of action. Their heads must be close to exploding with all the pent up pressure.

The forum opened up again yesterday... but the migration apparently failed. They found a few bugs that need squashing before they try again.

In typical DS fashion, the first post made on the German Market Lorry crash, made almost as soon as the news came in, is from someone clearly drooling and itching for it to be a Muslim immigrant that Merkel let in. Clearly the first thought on their mind as soon as it happened, to the point they started a thread about it.

You'll be able to smell the disapointment in the air if it turns out to be home-grown. Oh, and any excuse to tell us why it's not "terrorism" as well, because it's only Muslims and immi-grunts that do that.

The current suspect is a Tunisian asylum seeker, so not an immigrant (there is a difference). And anyone who perpertrates acts like this "aint no Muslim bruv."

Is that really the point though? Surely the point is about assumptions?

My DS account has been reinstated. However, I asked if my username can be changed as it's against rule 1.5 to use real names and they can't do it until the forum upgrade.
TVF's London Lite.

Indeed- it's about both instant assumptions and the fact you can tell these people are drooling over it through their hate of muslims.

DS has shuffled some forums around. Comics merged into Print Media which is renamed Books, Newspapers, and Comics. Fashion and Beauty merged into General Discussion.
