Some are saying it should have been him and not Mr Darling, He's been awake now for the past couple of weeks, its just not being reported. He says there a chance he will stand for the 2016 Scottish parliament.

In more interesting news: The bookies have increase the odds of a YES vote back to 10/3

If Scotland does go it alone, does this mean the rest of the UK can adopt the more logical UTC +1/+2DST time zone adopted by most of Western Europe?

You wouldn't believe that was the guy who was PM five years ago. What a speech. I'm a Conservative and I make no apologies for that but, wow, great speech.

Well Scotland it's over to you now to decide. Remember to think carefully before you vote, as there will be no turning back.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

It's a barnstormer, isn't it? I thought he came across really well on the Dimbleby interview too. Brown's a fantastic orator when he's passionate about something. He did the same just before the last general election - and then too I was baffled about why his passion came so late to the campaign.

I feel the same, I couldn't vote for him in the 2010 election, despite being a Labour supporter (I voted Lib Dem sadly hoping for a Lib Lab pact) - But I kinda wished he was PM again, but with that same passion.

Where heading for 90% + turnout, police are now at many polling stations.
