What's this Jane Hill/Jane Secker malarkey?

Has Hill changed her name to Secker, due to her civil partnership or summat or is the original poster mistaken for some reason?

(And what's the matter with mentioning Tim Willcox being spotted in the newsroom background? It's not very often you spot a newsreader that just happens to be passing through the newsroom! )

No it's just one of the forumers got the BBC's Jane Hill and Sky's Jayne Secker mixed up.

The real reason HTV was not re-branded into carlton was because their were 2 many carlton own regions useding the carlton name so if that happen the carlton name would have been used alongside LWT to almost half of england and wales

Long term lurker .... Hope this is as good a place as any to mention this, was there supposed to be a tick when I signed up for TV forum to also sign me up for this fine place? I couldn't see one. No biggie having to register here as well but if it is a bug I thought you would want to know.

I popped in yesterday only to *urgh* at the overuse of "GMB" (an acronym used by nobody ever in the history of the original breakfast telly show show) and then I saw that fantasy schedulers have taken it to the next level and now put up FAKE websites purporting to be official ITV press centre. I mean, who the fork has that much time on their hands. I mean, just.. why?

Perhaps its all such websites these days - but I wouldn't be an old curmudgeon without saying that in the halcyon days of TV Forum, such things (well, the latter of the two things I mentioned) would be so scandalous as to be dubbed "jarongate II".
