I really don't like how they've done tabs in the HTC Sense default browser, at least. Putting them in the main menu seems odd, so the fact they've put a button for tabs on the menu bar in Chrome beta pleases me greatly..lwoah wrote:May give it another try in future then - but I found it very slow and counter-intuitive, disappointing compared to desktop Chrome.Critique wrote:Ah, really? I'm finding it really quite snappy, and the way it syncs my history and open tabs across is oddly good.
Your phone home screen + top apps
I'd say Chrome is about the best browser I've used on a phone. No flash support, but definitely a step up.woah wrote:I'm surprised, I thought it was really dreadful and slow! Much prefer the stock browser over anything else on ICS. I used Opera on anything before that.Critique wrote:Just downloaded the Chrome Beta. So much nicer than the stock browser.
It might just be my phone then (SE Xperia Neo V) - but I would hope it would support my phone too without a lot of slowdown. I've not had any problems with the stock browser so far and find it preferable to Opera which I used on older Android versions.Jake wrote:I'd say Chrome is about the best browser I've used on a phone. Okay, I'll jump...

Nothing interesting on the first page, just the default screen, so this is my second screen. Default wallpaper too. I don't customise too much.
