There is, as prior mentioned, bbcsport and his idea that BBC Sport is slowly being destroyed as they lose rights. Also, there's that person who often complains about how 'STV don't care about the North', because they didn't have a new set when the south did. And then, there were the people who, five minutes after BBC Breakfast had started in Salford for the first time, were going 'Feels like a local news programme now'.
This still stands, arguably - and I'd agree with it, and it feels that way, doesn't mean to say it's regional, there's no content bias, but it lacks a feeling of quality.

But I take your point, Avago SlagBingoHour 128397129873461 from David is getting on my nipples especially the way he talks about a channel that went off air before the dawn of man as if we should all be accustomed to it...

I think it's possible they simply haven't been on in the last couple of days - which is a part of the problem.

You'd have thought they'd keep an eye on a thread with this one's title. Unless they just see it as a 537-page bitch. In which case they've severely misunderestimated it.

Well, it is kinda ironic that we're complaining about generic threads when this is arguably the biggest generic thread of them all.

As far as I understand things, one of the moderators is currently in Alaska, so probably taking time off from TVF and not even able to watch this thread with any regularity.

The sadministrator and the other soderator are probably just being their normal selves and taking no interest whatsoever for days and days on end, then jumping in on the rare occasions they have five spare minutes, mis-reading most of the posts they've missed and then taking over-zealous action against all the wrong people and ignoring the ones causing all the problems.

I find David's comic relief from the slew of shite on the forum at the moment the main reason I read the forum. All he needs to do now is to transform his forum character into a real one, and he'll turn into a comedy character along the lines of Angelos Epithemiou and Ian Crawford.

I think the forum needs more moderators - or at least one who visits daily; one with a presence. I can't remember all of the moderators over at TV Forum and I've been on there for years. I find it slightly sickening that some members on the forum can get away with talking about a presenters erect/visible nipples in a flirty manner whilst others get warnings for (rightly) getting angry over another member being annoying. Even if these new moderators had less power than the main ones, having an active presence would make the forum much better.

I also have to agree with the idea of splitting the main boards into content and presentation boards, and The Newsroom into Presentation, Content, and Rotacon. A forum that size can't survive with two boards for the vast majority of its content. I find myself reading the Rota threads just in case an interesting piece of presentational stuff has got mixed in with the Rota obsession.

It's just dawned on me at this insane hour that TVF is one of the ugliest looking forums going - not to be too disparaging to the designers but the colour palette is garish it looks incredibly dated, for saying we had the old look before it from January 2003 to April 2009 without much issue...

Hello...

I'm still here, doing the night watch as it were, 12:20pm here vs 9:20am uk time... Not been on the last 3 days, planes and jetlag, so have no idea whats been missed, still going though it all, but rest assured you've not been left alone over there!

All this over 'peanut smuggling'.

Some people are really sensitive arent they?

Maybe I ought to be rude about certain posters myself, seeing Ive been slagged off occasionnally.

Just be mellow & worry about other things in the world.

Im certainly more concerned about 'our boys' out there fighting than a innocent comment about 'peanut smuggling'!

So where does the TumbleTower pastiche end and David's own madness begin?
