Metropol, as always I call to you for my technical computer help.

The other day, I installed a piece of Jargon on my computer that was just some soundboard nonsense. However, I turned the old dear on again today and was informed it couldn't load my user preferences, and thus deleted my documents apart from the bog standard music and images. I'm rather peeved, but nothing else has been affected, so I ask your opinion of what has happened and what to do.

My diagnosis - ID-ten-T error...

Have you tried looking through the root of the hard disk drive to see if your files remain?

You Beep, are a star. I never had the smallest of inkling's to even bother looking into the actual Hard Drive. I simply glanced at my Documents, saw squit, and died a little inside. Thank you very much, my crisis has been averted.
