Not at all, it's just not what the media are interested in.

On Europe and Health, the LDs and Labour will not struggle to get on at all.

I struggle to see any reason why the Lib Dems would side with the Tories given the state of things.

If the Lib Dems go with Labour then they still won't have an overall majority. There will be a minority government. Just the same as if the Tories go it alone....

So seems the pendulum is now swinging back the other way, and the only deal is looking like a Con Lib coalition.

I think Labour have played this brilliantly. They decided to scare the Tories by saying that Nick Clegg wanted to talk, and have effectively hurried along negotitations and no doubt both parties have conceded some of the things that they weren't expecting to. Now Labour can look honourable and "re-group" as strong opposition and eject the Con/Lib arrangement when we next go to the polls.

The problem is people are already sceptical as to the way the deal between the two parties will work, so it will need to go EXTREMELY well for both the Lib Dems and Conservatives to look like good options when it comes to the next election.

We haven't even got on to how the two parties might work together, yet - which is really where the fun begins.
Good Lord!
