Okay, the debate of the day/month/year/decade. Do you use Facebook, or Twitter.

(Now for my well prepared speech)
Is the population of the Metro-Sphere a bunch of Twits? Or are we regularly booked in the face?

Well, vote in our online poll!

To Vote Facebook, click 'Facebook'
To Vote Twitter, click 'Twitter'

Votes cost the standard charge from your ISP. Voting closes when this thread gets old. Votes from Mobile Web will cost you considerably and free entry from metropol247.co.uk is only free if you are not charged for internet access.

Thanks for voting!

Expert Tip: Online polls usually contain polls.

I seem to be unable to find an 'Add Poll' button, expert help, or idiocy?

Ensure there's a both button.

I don't think I understand the question. It's not like Facebook or Twitter directly compete, so picking one over the other would be, well, it'd just be very silly indeed.

I like that the expression on your face there perfectly matches the tone of the post

I suppose the difference in style (well, apart from the massively more "functional" facebook) is that one is for keeping up to date with friends, where the other (twitter) seems largely focussed on gleaning factoids about the lives of strangers - actors, musicians and tv presenters.

But most seem convinced that they are as important to the folk they're following as they are to them.

I think this is probably unlikely. I think twitter is more of a bit of a one-way system for most of its users.

Not that I would say such a thing, lest I offend Metrotwitter or Maggietwitter.

Thank you to whoever added the poll in, as I certainly didn't. But yes, it tends to be that Twitter is more for finding out what Celeb's are up to and Facebook more for finding out what your friends are up to. Anyway, however added it put a both or either in, so...

I myself use both; it used to be Facebook for more personal stuff and Twitter for internet friends. Lines easily blur thought, I've gained about 400 Facebook friends lately because I just started accepting every add without really concentrating.

I think Twitter has just taken over my life now, annoyingly. It's addictive.

There shouldn't be an apostrophe in Facebookers.

I don't think punctuation and the average Facebook user exactly go together.

I see there's currently a group called "Facebook stays free if we get 1,00,00,00 members". I was thinking of starting a "Lets put random commas in the middle of numbers" group!
