Well I'm a fucking arse.

I'll apologise at once.

I've realised that reads as further sarcasm. Its not, though. There are minimal standards to officially call yourself an engineer, but in practice an engineer is as an engineer does.

Doesn't mean he knows anything about Viz systems, nor does it mean I'm interested in hippy-shaking graphics or standing up.

But if I'm going to be an arse I should be a fair one.

Seems Worzel is the overindulged 'let me continue believing I'm a broadcast engineer and a TV presenter or I'll throw a tantrum and make you look nasty' type. Oh well.

Almost Tumble Tower-esque language there from Col, should we be worried? ;)

Almost, but not enough dates. He could have at least noted the original date of transmission.

Cheers, Michael, tsk at me. But how else could I have constructed that sentence without stating the facts and putting my point across?

I am known as the nitpicker extraordinaire, tis true, but I think it was your usage of "overall reappraisal" that got my Tumbledar ticking. At least you didn't invent a code, like KF95.

As you know I'm a paragon of confidentiality, so I'm not going to regale the whole private message, but I will just say that Worzel ended a pompous PM to me with the word "CHOW!" In capital letters. Oh, and he called me 'love'.

I wouldn't consider this to be at all strange if he was 15 years old, but he's actually the same age as me. :?
