I've realised that reads as further sarcasm. Its not, though. There are minimal standards to officially call yourself an engineer, but in practice an engineer is as an engineer does.
Doesn't mean he knows anything about Viz systems, nor does it mean I'm interested in hippy-shaking graphics or standing up.
But if I'm going to be an arse I should be a fair one.

Almost Tumble Tower-esque language there from Col, should we be worried?Col at t'other place wrote:Annoyingly, my recording of the first episode of the series cut out before the end of the programme, so I'll have to watch some more episodes to give an overall reappraisal of Krypton '95.

Cheers, Michael, tsk at me. But how else could I have constructed that sentence without stating the facts and putting my point across?Alexia wrote:Almost Tumble Tower-esque language there from Col, should we be worried?Col at t'other place wrote:Annoyingly, my recording of the first episode of the series cut out before the end of the programme, so I'll have to watch some more episodes to give an overall reappraisal of Krypton '95.

At least you didn't invent a code, like KF95.Col wrote:Cheers, Michael, tsk at me. As you know I'm a paragon of confidentiality, so I'm not going to regale the whole private message, but I will just say that Worzel ended a pompous PM to me with the word "CHOW!" In capital letters. Oh, and he called me 'love'.
I wouldn't consider this to be at all strange if he was 15 years old, but he's actually the same age as me.
