I ask myself the same. Even though she is a working mother and has another responsibilities, she has also a TV-show with her name. And that's a big deal of responsibility, too. Perhaps the show shouldn't be named Lorraine. And yes - Kate does a terrific job here!

(I like her a lot, though)
Great first post.

The Twitter-stalking and obsession with certain presenters is really freaking me out to be honest...

Its the certitude with which he condemns her that prompted me to reply. As if having her name in the title somehow encumbers her with never being allowed to be off in case it lets down the entire "brand".

Nonsense.

Meanwhile, Live at five with Jeremy, who earlier brought us the brilliant konnie huq thread, has decided that because Sky News don't walk around their studio any more they should just move the broadcasting bit to the millbank set instead.

Actually it's quite hard to explain the level of stupidity being displayed, so do please have a read of the Sky News thread.

Another interesting feature of that thread is that it seems to exist in alternate universe in which the word 'isle' has become commonly used in English.

Sorry, I can't stop. Worzel doesn't seem to understand what the phrase "reading between the lines" means.

Also, in the Daybreak thread:

Not all Health & Safety rules are complete schmuck, you know.
I don't think anyone said they were.

I've been on TVF for about 15 minutes today and all the idiocy has really hurt my head. I have to stop going there.

Someone the other week was on about how Health & Safety would prevent Fred from jumping across a floating weather map. I'm still waiting for their response as to which bits would do this...

ginofish is making intelligible discussion? When did this start happening? Is this, from what I can gather, what happened to Beep? Some of the older topics I read during boredom show Beep as a bad speller, with bad grammar. Now though, Beep makes very few of these aforementioned blunders - apparently like ginofish.

No offense intended to Beep.
