FINE, i'll do it myself.Pete wrote:Could someone point out in the breakfast thread that the "tv that is set up wrong"has 14:9 widescreen bars and therefore appears to be receiving an analogue source. I'd post myself but you know, I don't want to drag anything off topic.

Pointless posting?
Whatever happened to Ryan Pannell?

Meanwhile in the vaults of Media Websites, JAS84 is VERY ANGRY that The TV Room Plus has not been rebranded at the same time as the main site.
[It is] like ITV1, 2 and 3 still having the old blue logo after ITV4 launched with the new ITV logo. Both were fixed within weeks or months, but IMHO shouldn't have happened at all. Sorry, but I'm sure corporate types would say that inconsistent branding is poor branding.

This has gone straight in at number 3 in my favourite ever posts:

Beep, we know you love Pebble Mill and are continuously mourning it, but I'm starting to wonder if you've got a problem...
"the heaven that was Pebble Mill"?! Come on, it was a concrete lump which made some television programmes. It's not the hopeful destintion of billions of hopefuls. It's also gone, and it's also not coming back. Just be thankful that you still have any broadcasters in your city, and that there is still production going on there unlike many of the old places across the country.Beep, in the other place wrote:Interesting that not many, if any, new BBC Centres have pres areas. BBC Birmingham has a 'sub' presentation area, but nothing like the wealth of continuity facilities the heaven that was Pebble Mill had.

Indeed.
Pebble Mill was but a turning to the left on the road from the heaven that was Aston Road North to home in Wiltshire.
