The supposed danger of Oriental hordes overwhelming the West.
Indeed. It's rather like the recent Islamification of Comedy Central :D

They do like their horrible phrases over there at the moment. Hippy shakes is another infuriating one regarding News 24's ticker. Always followed by "need to purge those temp files" because it's so clever that they know the issue that causes it and have to mention it over and over again.

At the moment though my favourite has to be the sheer excitement over the Christmas news rota's (as nabbed from the radio times). One of them even was titled "Christmas excitement" without a hint of irony.

Morons. I'd purge them all.

Oh that prize moron rajanchavda thought Geraint Vincent's debut on the new ITV News set was such an important event that it was worthy of being put on the TVF Calendar. His entry has since been removed.

There are some ongoing issues which I'm trying to resolve with the hosts. Some code changes to go up this month should also help things along.

Tonight's issues relate to networking problems at the London Internet Exchange which I imagine is/was affecting lots of sites.

Cheers, Asa

It's a very important day, Bail, and the calendar would just look odd if the 25th didn't have a circle round it. The poster formerly known as GMTV009 made an entry for New Years Day, which I think is much more pointless.

That's the most thunderingly shit bit of reasoning I've seen since Plymouth was here.

EDIT: I see it's now gone from t'calendar.
