I lost interest in that thread a while back until I see it in action, there's really not much else to say.

Looks like they got caught faking breakdowns.

Yes, all of their breakdowns were posed as real but in reality were the same bit of footage looped on repeat for 2 minutes. Not sure what they were trying to achieve but fortunately David stepped in.

I'm willing to give them a tiny bit of the benefit of the doubt and accept that perhaps that's how they were receiving the channels due to s fault at their end - but they didn't seem to want to accept that nobody else was seeing the same fault.

Or they were making it up.

At least our younger members have a better grasp on running channels in disaster recovery mode and fixing a datacentre full of borked hard drives better than the broadcasters and Red Bee themselves

Apparently it was "only" a sonic wave and shouldn't take this long to fix 🤦‍♂️

Also, you can just tell that some members are learning the term 'disaster recovery' and 'DR' for the first time but now using it at every opportunity.

The new members seem to be coming out with the most bizarre claims. I highly doubt that Channel 4 will have the graphics of the 80s and 90s anywhere near their systems. I do fear for what they have to say next.

Every other poster seems to be someone with less than 10 posts lately

Although the frequency they post, they won’t be under 10 posts for too long

Some of the newer members still don't seem to understand what a blue name tag means or how people have been able to see the new look before it's official launch.,

Not to mention people complaining about live action idents being used for BBC1's new package like as if it's the end of the world.
