It’s basically Coca-Cola but with an incredibly subtle cinnamon taste. Anyone else underwhelmed? I’d much rather have the IKEA Swedish festive drink Vintersaga if they bring it back this year.

I've been unable to acquire some myself. I am of the belief (though there are members on here who are probably more knowledgeable on the matter) that cinnamon is one of the flavourings in the standard product, so it perhaps doesn't change the taste radically.

Yessir, I do likes me my cola - to the point that my internal organs are probably just as black as the fizzy stuff itself. There's always a bottle of Coke Zero or Pepsi Diet on the go in my fridge. I know it's no doubt slowly killing me but ... hey.

However I have never been taken by any of the flavoured varieties on sale .. pretty much ever. I think back to around 2005 when Pepsi introduced a Lemon and Lime Twist Pepsi Max - vile chemically rubbish on its own, but with a shot or two of vodka it was pretty good.

I was given a free can of Diet Coke with a hint of Mango in Cardiff last week, and my brother-in-law was given a Cherry variant (with a subtle hint of chilli for some reason). The mango flavouring was so strong it tasted of nothing but uber-sweet bathroom cleaner; the cherry version tasted like the smell of that bright pink glittery lipstick that 10 year old girls wear.

Pepsi also has a ginger version out at the moment. Coke Zero can be found in cherry and mango editions. And at naff restaurants like Harvester/Pizza Hut that have one of those serve-yourself fountains, I note you can add a sickening flavour shot to any variety of Pepsi - apple, orange, cherry et al.

What I don't get about flavoured COLA is it removes the cola taste from the drink. And there are already so many flavoured fizzy beverages, I don't get the need to have essentially nothing but a brown version of them.

It is back - I assume it's the same as Julmust from previous years (which is probably the same as Paskmust, which appears at Easter). It's a bit Dandelion and Burdock-ish.

I've also never been smitten with the coca cola freestyle thing. Add some vile chemical filth to your drink. No thanks

As long as it's not as bad as the Cucumber Sprite that was available in the summer in virtually indistinguishable bottles I'll be happy.

Julmust and Paskmust are the same thing. I'm fairly sure (being a Swedophile) that the Ikea one is made by Nygarda as they taste identical; whereas the more popular but slightly less sweet one is Apotekarnes (TotallySwedish in London sell that one for example)

If you go to Germany, there's a Cola / Orange combo which is bloody gorgeous. They also have MINT Sprite.

Oh god that was just cruel wasn't it; I didn't fall for it but came pretty damn close several times.

I presume that would be similar to 7Up Mojito in this country.

Mezzo Mix. I think it's supposed to be a blend of Coke and Fanta Orange but I've never managed to emulate it using that combo at a postmix station.

Coke Zero Orange on the Freestyle machine hits the spot for me, I think if I had a proper Mezzo Mix I'd find it too sugary now.
