Will a name change be on the cards?

Exciting news indeed. Hopefully B&M will keep on whoever was responsible for personnel and training at Heron, I've always found the service to be excellent in there and rather lacking in B&M.
How long before Home Bargains snap up Fultons?

More likely farmfoods, as they have a bigger presence.

But surely a bit too big for Home Bargains?

It seems there was some speculation that Asda might have been interested in B&M previously. I wonder if their takeover of Heron is a defensive manoeuvre as such a takeover would now attract the attention of the CMA?

Who are Heron and Fultons?
Frozen Food shops. There's one of the former in Rhyl, for example.

Heron's stores are mostly in the North of England. They're headquartered in Hull.

All of these freezer food shop brands are largely alien to me in London. I've seen a Farmfoods in Sutton which made Iceland look like an M&S in comparison!
