Is that a McDonald's UK thing, or do they use the green elsewhere? It does feel 'right', especially in high street facias - but it doesn't feel like it would fit in as well in other countries.

[edit]
Having spent a wee while looking at photos of random stores from around the world on Google Maps, it seems to be a Europe (including Russia) thing. Also it seems the 'make the store look like it's not still in the 80s' refresh doesn't seem to have made it to much of North America.

Interesting that there's still references to "I'm lovin' it" - we hear plenty of the accompanying jingle in the UK but rarely see the words now.

Greggs have stopped putting the bit of plastic on top of a single doughnut to please Greta Thunberg. The problem is now the icing sticks to the paper bag and rips off :(

I still haven't forgiven them for 'resting' the Steak & Cheese roll.

Walk ins have been stopped, even though takeaways are allowed in the new lockdown.

We had a Maccies that closed in the late 2000s, but it never moved on from the 1980s look - all that plastic bench seating with those PVC back cushions stayed with it the whole time. Conversely, a Maccies a couple of miles away which opened in the late 90s went through at least two refurbs in the first 10 years it was open.
