Did it ever go away? The one they're advertising now has a chocolate sauce. I found it a bit underwhelming.

It was permanently replaced by Oreo in 2015. Haven't been there recently to try the new one though.

The Strand McDonalds in London which was infamous for not having the touch screens now has them. They stripped out a load of tables to install those.

There must be few and far between where it's all counter POS only now? Croydon North End still has it as the site is being demolished as part of the Westfield development next year.

Funny you should say that, Westfield Stratford is entirely counter POS.

I don't think that will change considering how busy the food court is there. McDonalds Stratford Centre has the touch screens.

New format McDonald's to Go has opened on Fleet Street, with a pared-back range and no sitting-in.

And updated branding coming worldwide too.

Suggests an interesting shift in their approach to product photography: "No more muddling up the photos with unrealistic props like marble surfaces, cutting boards, glass bowls, and linen tablecloths. We wanted to be more authentic and celebratory of the way the food is actually enjoyed."

Does that mean the main signage is going back to being bright red instead of olive green?
