Can’t help but wonder, given Morrisons clearly don’t have an issue with their name being plastered all over it, why they don’t just stock Morrisons-branded stuff instead.
Looks like they may have had a rethink on the safe way brand as they appear to be rolling out Morrisons Daily brand rather than Safeway Daily.

Wait, that says it's 10 McColls stores rebranding. That's an odd move unless Morrisons have plans to take over McColls outright.

It's not a move that suggests faith in the brand certainly.
But doesn't this thread point towards a slow influx of Morrisons? Particularly with the unnecessarily tri-branded posters announcing the arrival of Safeway products. A longer term plan than we thought?

Looks like Morrisons are opening Safeway Daily stores in petrol stations, which seems confusing, as McColls which stock the Safeway brand are launching Morrisons Daily stores.

This should be no surprise, as the tweet posted a while back about the logo did mention it was for petrol stations.

It's probably a sensible realignment to be honest. The existing PFS Morrisons Dailies are not very Morrisons except for the stuff on the shelves.

Sounds like McColls are looking at something closer to the M Local concept.

What about the Morrisons in the Channel Islands? Specifically Morrisons at Benests?
